PLACE OF TWITTER AS A SOCIAL MEDIUM FOR INFORMATION DISSEMINATION

The research explores Twitter as a medium of communication among University of Lagos. There is no doubt about the fact that the world is in a global village. Today the world is now compressed into a single electronic room where information from far and near are exchanged with a click of mouse and touch of screen. Survey as a quantitative research method was adopted. Data were collected using questionnaire in eliciting responses from Unilag students Akoka.
