The research investigated uses of social media among public relations practitioners in Nigeria as there is an increasing use of social media by consumers globally thereby causing the increasing use of social media among many public relations professional. Research was used Grunig and Hunt Public Relations Model and Technology Determinism to explain the investigation. The core objective of the research was to examine the influence of social media on the practice of public relations using public relations practitioners in Lagos state as a case study.
