The study investigated music preference, perception and attitude of Babcock University undergraduates. The study established that music is part and parcel of students’ lifestyle. The study was anchored on Uses and Gratifications Theory and Perception Theory. The study adopted survey research method. The research used questionnaire to elicit responses from respondents who were selected using quota sampling as non-probability sampling. The research was on the thrust to examine the influence of advertisement on students’ choice of toothpaste among students with a focus of University of Lagos students.
