Olayinka Saheed Olaitan, born in November 1986 in Ojo, Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria, is an accomplished communication scholar. He holds an M.Sc. in Mass Communication from the University of Ilorin (2022) and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mass Communication from Kwara State University (2017). He also earned both a Higher National Diploma and a National Diploma in Mass Communication from Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, in 2010 and 2007, respectively.
Olayinka is a member of the Association of Communication Scholars & Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN) since 2019 and the Association of Media and Communication Researchers of Nigeria (AMCRON) since 2021. He has authored several academic articles and communication textbooks, contributing significantly to the field.
His professional experience spans mass media, online media, research, and data analysis. Olayinka’s research interests include health communication, development communication, broadcast media, and new media, among others.
