The study examined the influence of motivation on employees’ productivity with reference to Unilever Nigeria Plc, Lagos. There is no doubt that motivation of employee helps to enhance organization productivity enhances employees to work hard and help in achieving the goals and objectives of the organization. The study was anchored on Process Theories of Motivation and Theory of Goal Setting a Task Performance. Also, the research employed survey research method in carrying this study, alongside the use of questionnaire to elicit responses from respondents who were staff of Unilever Nigeria Plc, Lagos through sample random sampling. The data was analysed through frequency and percentage method. The main finding of the study is that motivation often increase productivity, maintain industrial peace, health, harmony and stability when they motivated along that time, to other conscience. It was recommended that promotion should be given to workers as at when due and with corresponding increase in salaries.
