Findings shows that women issues are been promoted by mass media to some extent, although it is revealed that mass media still cover more male stories especially political coverage. It is recommended that the media employers should ensure gender equality during recruitment while female lecturers should be given chance in higher institution of learning to motivate more female undergraduates to choose journalism as a career.
